The AI Mullet™Humans in front.
AI in back.

AI should make humans more human. The point is not to put AI in front of the customer, the attendee, or the relationship. The point is to put AI in back, where it can process the signal, prioritize what matters, and help people show up better where humans matter most.

30 minutes. No pitch. Bring one real workflow, event, or relationship challenge.

The Method

AI belongs in back.

The simplest example is AI note taking. When you trust that the notes are handled, you stop typing. You listen better. You ask better questions. You stay present in the conversation that is actually happening.

That is the whole idea, scaled up. AI should capture the signal that usually gets lost. AI should surface the few things worth human attention. Then people should perform where humans create the most value: in the room, in the relationship, in the decision, and in the follow through.

Process

Capture, synthesize, organize, and route the inputs that usually get lost or ignored.

Prioritize

Surface the people, opportunities, signals, and next actions that deserve human attention now.

Perform

Show up more prepared, more present, and more useful in the moments where trust is built.

Priorities before prompts.

The better question is not, “What can AI do?” The better question is, “What business outcome are we trying to improve, and where does human attention create the most value?” Most teams do not need more AI experiments. They need fewer, better ones connected to real priorities, real workflows, and real business outcomes.

How We Help
Three ways to put AI in back.

Start where trust already lives. Humans In Front applies the same operating philosophy to the three places human trust does the most work: your events, your relationships, and the way your team actually works.

Events

Event Operating Systems

Your event should end with a ranked list of who to talk to and why, not a pile of badge scans.

I help teams use AI behind the scenes to create better attendee experiences, capture richer first-party signal, prioritize follow up, and route insight to the people who can act on it while the moment is still warm.

For you if you run events to drive growth, especially across a portfolio at scale.

  • Event intelligence strategy
  • Attendee experience design
  • Sales and marketing activation
  • Portfolio operating models
Relationships

Relationship Intelligence Systems

Walk into every conversation with the context that actually matters.

This is CRM enhancement, not CRM replacement. It is for teams whose real advantage is the trust they have already earned, but whose relationship signal is scattered across email, meetings, events, notes, CRM data, and memory.

For you if your business grows through relationships, referrals, partnerships, community, or trust.

  • Relationship signal mapping
  • Attention and follow-up models
  • Owned data foundations
  • Cohort build program

Human-Led AI Adoption

Stop running twenty disconnected AI pilots. Ship the three that change the work.

I help teams identify the AI use cases that are actually worth changing behavior for, then redesign the workflows, operating rhythms, and enablement around them.

That means moving from scattered tool experimentation to practical adoption: clear priorities, cleaner handoffs, better decisions, and measurable improvements in the way work gets done.

For you if your team is using AI, experimenting with AI, or talking constantly about AI, but the work itself has not meaningfully changed.

  • Use case prioritization
  • Workflow redesign
  • Team enablement
  • Practical adoption roadmaps

Meet The Human

Built from the work, not the hype.

I'm Scott Ingram, and I have been building toward Humans In Front for most of my career.

I have spent more than twenty years where technology, sales, events, and human relationships collide. I sold marketing automation at Eloqua through its IPO and Oracle acquisition, then spent a decade helping enterprise teams turn that technology into revenue. I have lived through enough technology waves to know the difference between the hype and the part that actually changes the work.

I sold enterprise event software to companies like CA Technologies, AT&T, and Burns & McDonnell, and wrote Making Rain with Events. I built Sales Success Media by studying, interviewing, and bringing together the people who perform at the very top of the sales profession.

The room The relationships The follow through The humans

That is where AI belongs. Not in front pretending to be the human. In back, helping us process the signal, prioritize what matters, and show up better when it counts.

More than 200 number one and top one percent sellers interviewed.
91.5% of Sales Success Summit attendees call it the best sales event they have attended.

The Experience

Grounded in actually doing it.

This is not a framework I read about. It is built from years of selling, hosting, interviewing, writing, facilitating, following up, and building systems I actually use.

91.5% of Sales Success Summit attendees say it is the best sales event they have ever attended.

Events should not end with a lead list.

The output of an event should be a prioritized set of next human actions.

Who deserves attention.
Why they matter.
What context matters.
What should happen next.

That is where Event Operating Systems and Relationship Intelligence Systems connect. Events create signal. Relationship systems help turn that signal into better follow through.

The system I built for myself

ROSS, a relationship operating system.

I got tired of important relationships going cold because the signal was scattered across email, meetings, events, notes, and the CRM.

So I built ROSS: a system that pulls those inputs together, remembers what matters about each person, surfaces who deserves attention now, and helps me follow up well.

AI in back. Me in front.

It is the clearest proof of the Relationship Intelligence path, and the model I now help teams adapt for their own owned data.

Start with the outcome

Bring a workflow, event portfolio, or relationship growth challenge.

We will talk through where AI belongs in back, what deserves human attention in front, and which next step can create meaningful business impact.

30 minutes. No pitch. Bring the real thing.
